  1. First I do think that meaningful learning is important, because it makes the knowledge linger for a longer period of time, as a chain of events, something should have to be done in order to achieve such a level in a classroom, the use of anticipation of reward would work as the fuel of the machine, after all one of the most important thing to the students are the grades. The final point is the language ego, the pleasuse that comes with the use and ability to use a second language also boost the motivation to a new level.

    -Meaningful learning ( primary target )
    -Anticipation of a reward ( Main motivational tool)
    -Language ego ( Secondary or late motivational tool )

  3. 1 - Meaningful learning - We have to teach what is important to the students and what they will need, selecting what is appropriate to the classroom and avoiding the pitfalls of rote learning.

    2 - Risk-Taking - I think we should encourage our students to try out language, to venture a response. We have to keep them producing and interpreting in the target language.

    3 - Interlanguage - The students have different interlanguages and we have to know how to teach them all in a way they can add something for their interlanguages and we can't make them feel stupid because of the interlanguage error.

  4. I consider the following principles very important, because I believe that if teacher uses theses teaching practives in the right way, it will have results successfully.
    Automaticity -The child achieves a great success in learning a second language when living is both culturally and linguistically in the same environment. A process subconscious learning without the analysis of how the Language.
    Meaningful learning-This principle is based on the idea that all children acquire the language very well because she associates sounds, words, structures and elements of a conversation, which is relevant to your learning and survival.
    Intrinsic motivation- This principle is based on the student's intrinsic motivation to make activities in the classroom, students are more interested in activities because they cause them some kind of pleasure, or because they are fun, or interesting, useful and challenging, not because the student will receive a compliment the teacher.

  5. I'd use "The Anticipation of Reward, Intrinsec Motivation and Strategic Investment" as a single one, since the three of them work with motivation and the last two principles mentioned consider what the learners feel good on doing. I'd also work with self-confidence, since to learn anything in this world we have to be self-confident and full of positive thoughts and vibrations so we can reach our goals.

  7. In the beginning the student must be confident, so they need a person that stimulate them, the professor is the ideal person, the principle of “self-confidence” is incredible to acquire good results, in my class I else try to use this principle all the time, it’s a way that show the students how the English is easy, another important principle use by me is the “effective principles” a new way to know more about that culture or people from that country, of course that learn about our thing is important too and is necessary to show the reality and diference for the pupils. At the end I would like to talk about “the anticipation of Reward” that was widely reported by Ana Cristina in our Classroom, this stimulus according to Skiners are fundamental to develop of human brain and for our students improvin………….Diego Ramires.

  8. The teacher should seek teaching methods that help the student and show results of teaching. Then, among the twelve methods mentioned in Teaching by Pronunciation, I chose three methods that identify as most important:
    1 – Meaningful Learning: subsumes new information into existing structures and memory systems, and the resulting associative links create stronger retention.
    2 – Language Ego: all second language learners need to be treated with affective tender loving care.
    3 – Communicative Competence: has come to capture a multiplicity of meanings depending on who you ask, it is nevertheless a useful phrase.

  9. The three principles that I think most important are:
    1 - Meaningful learning-in which the student must have a fixed learning, not just repetition;
    2 - Intrinsic motivation-it the student has an motivation that gives you pleasure to learn and not just an instant motivation and abroad, her motivation comes from an pleasure;
    3 - Risk-taking, I think the teacher should always encourage students at risk, so that the class become more participatory, rather than them just listen to the teacher talk, and also instigaria students to become familiar with the English language

  15. 1. Intrinsic Motivation Principle - The importance of not being a cold and distant teacher. We have to approach to our students and invest time finding out their interests, motives, emotions, likes and dislikes.
    2. Self-Confidence-Build/sequence activities to build confidence. Encourage students – let them know that you know they can do the work
    3. Meaningful Learning - Meaningful learning will lead toward better long-term retention than rote learning. Appeals to student interests. Connects new info to old info (good schemata building).
